This training is designed to assist law enforcement officers by showing them known criminal indicators to allow them to separate the innocent motoring public from the criminal element during routine traffic stops. This three-day class includes lecture and hands-on training along with practical stops. Areas to be covered are starting a highway criminal interdiction unit, identifying criminal characteristics before and during a stop, interviewing techniques, use of a K-9 and locating hidden compartments. Actual traffic stop and hidden compartment videos will be shown.

This class will be instructed by Johnston County Sheriff's Department (NC) Deputies Jason Crocker and Danny Johnson, who have worked highway interdiction on I-95 for over 8 years. Both have taught throughout the US and internationally as well receiving numerous awards for their seizures.
